Here's the typical fault code I'm getting. Any other ideas? Anyone else ever have this problem with the 2.5 engine where it was NOT the PVC diaphragm? although I've gone through the adaption process (with VCDS) for the throttle body. I've read where a throttle body can cause this. Almost like it's happening when I just begin to accelerate from a dead stop. and the car is moving, but very slowly (16-22 kph / 10 - 15 MPH). it always seems to happen when the engine is near idle speed (670 RPM). What's strange is, based upon the freeze frame data. and the air filter element was recently replaced. I can see no visible tears or damage to the intake tube. I've visibly checked all the vacuum tubes and hoses. but I've already replaced the PVC with a Dorman unit. I've done an internet search, and I keep coming up with the common problem for these engines, failed PCV diaphragm. I can clear the code and the car is fine for about a week. I keep getting a P2279 engine code (Leak in Air Intake System). If you'd rather I post this in retrofits. I've posted here because the engine / intake system / ECU is completely stock 2.5L Jetta. installed in place of the original (failed) 2.0t FSI. Just found another split pipe under inlet manifold it comes out of a T piece to the underside of the inlet manifold I'm not sure about the part number i think itsĠ6A 133 783 AT could anyone confirm this will fit A3 1.I've got a 2007 VW Passat Wagon with a 2.5L 5-Cyl.
